IMPORTANT UPDATES FOR PLAYERS
(10 AUGUST 2024)

Dear Jammers and Friends,

Below you can find information about quarterfinals on Wednesday and rules that we will follow.

The amount of teams determine if there will be quarterfinals. At this point we have 18 open pairs teams and 17 mixed pairs. Due to FPA rules if number of teams is 17 or more we need to make some kind of elimation round/seeding round for quarter finals. 

Therefore there will be quarterfinals in Open Pairs and Mixed Pairs divisions on Wednesday. The 8 highest ranked teams are exempt from these qualifiers. 

We spread the FPAW2024 for 4 tournament days to have some flexibility for last moment changes due to last moment players registrations and teaming up.

For those of you going to SANDSLASH after FPAW2024 we have some important updates:

SANDSLASH REGISTRATION
In order to add you to the info group about SandSlash2024 – please register. We only need your name and email, phone (for WhatsApp/Telegram) and basic info so it takes 60 seconds to do it.

SANDSLASH TRANSPORT
As we have a group of players going to Dębki from Warsaw, so we want to help with an option for group transport. The cheapest and also fastest option is going by train from Warsaw to Wejherowo and switching for the bus from Wejherowo train station to Dębki. The tentative date for this will be Monday and Tuesday 19th-20th of August (departure morning from Warsaw, less than 6h trip). We also want to organise a way back for those of you going back to Warsaw airport on Monday 26th of August. We need to collect information about who wants to participate in this option in order to reserve a bus or rent a big taxi.
Price range for transport from Warsaw->Debki and Debki->Warsaw: train one person 75-100pln, group bus one person 20-50pln (depends on number of passengers).

ACCOMODATION at DEBKI
For now we have booked 30 sleeping spots in small wooden houses (3-5persons) for players (Mrs.Teresa place as always for those who know :)). Standard of the houses is low to medium, but location is great, low price and all jammers are staying in one place.  Tentative dates for stay are 21-26 August. There is a possibility to park a car or camper. Cost is around 75pln/night/person. Some players plan to stay a few more days after SandSlash there. If you want something with better standard or different please contact us early, we can help you to find a separate apartment,hotel.
